That was fun

i’m sitting back at my friends place ready to go to bed and thought I owed it to everyone to let them know that I had a super spectacular time with Stretch & Supa Sonic Scott on the Junkyard radio show on Garage71.  Seriously, this place was awesome inside of awesome.  I walk inside and I see bikes, nice shiny bikes.  The rest was just something I would have to explain every detail of and there is not enough time left on my nite nite medicine to have me do that all.

BUUUUUTTTTT I felt the promotion went out without a hitch.  Of course I’ve never had a hitch so I don’t know how to tell the difference.  I can tell you this.  When we came back on each hour and spoke, I felt completely at home, not really threatened, oddly shy, but it felt great.  I have made another accomplishment and it was with some wonderful people.  I hope that people learned a little about my book, and me, and are not running for the hills as of yet.  I love my followers and my fans and my friends. I REALLY love the ones who listened in, at least for the first bit, considering rock and metal may not be your thing.  I even got to do a few shout outs to some very important people so all in all I had a good day. Bonus…..more technology I know nothing about but at least I am not the only one lost in the social media world.  By the by. I googled myself, not offensively of course.  How happy does it make you feel when you take up the whole page?  It was amazing.  I’m beaming with excitement. Can you tell?

Tomorrow I head to see a friend and use that time to work about my book, so basically this is a working vacation for me.  I’ll take that and.

Goodnight all and will speak with you soon.  We are talking about putting a sound clip together of just the interview itself, cross fingers.

Hanging in the ATL

As I sit here in Atlanta after driving in the rain for a few hours, I sit down to relax.  As blah as it is outside, I’m thankful that I have a friend who lives in the city that can let me crash for the night.  Why is tonight important?  Don’t you remember????  Me, streaming on radio, promoting my book……be there!!!!! I am going to link the one I had before just to give you the gist of things.  Here is it.

But for now, I will keep you updated on what I can, when I can, and i hope you get a chance to check me out on the radio between some awesome rock and metal music and maybe I’ll get to talk about Rise of a Queen.  Maybe.

Off to enjoy the time that I have with my friend before getting grilled or who knows what else (apologies in advance for foul language on my part)

To Celebrate my 3 year move – repost of The House Where the Things Go Bump in the Night

Otherwise known as my house.  The one I painstakingly sweated tears and blood to get in time to move, the one that brought me to a better place to live, the one that brings old charm into a beautifully old neighborhood, and the best place I have ever rented.  Mind you, this place was built […]

The Death of a Character: To Mourn or Not to Mourn

I was asked a question earlier by someone I find both wise, endearing, and completely talented in all that she does.  Her question has been bouncing around in my mind and I realize that my answer to her was very swift and two dimensional so maybe I should expand a little on the subject.  The […]
